Baby Bing

Hi Blog World,

It is almost midnight and we need to announce the newest member to the Binggeli Clan. Her name is Molly Ardith Binggeli. She entered this world with much stress to both her and her mom (Haley). Both did exceptionally well and will recover quickly.

Molly weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21" long, lots of hair, and has a reddish tint. The grandmas will be proud. Born at 5:05 PM. She giants over the rest of the babies in the nursery. The Hubers grow them big and there is no room for disappointment. Haley followed the regiment of vitamins and doctors orders to have a wonderful baby girl. Thanks!!!

We now have the cutest baby girl!!!! This is not up for debate.
It seems surreal to be parents. It is different than nieces and nephews. Here we go, wish us luck.

D-Day +2

Bad news: No baby yet.

Good news: I went to the doctor yesterday.

Bad news: IMC's policy is that a woman will NOT be induced for a first baby before 41 weeks unless the baby is at risk. My blood pressure did jump this week, to a whopping 120/70. Fortunately (though unfortunately) there is no risk there.
Bad news: My doctor just got back from 2 1/2 weeks in Turkey, but is leaving for a conference next week and says I could wait until next Thursday if I want her to induce or deliver or I could have one of her colleagues do it earlier in the week. The earliest they would induce me, though, is Monday.

Good news: My doctor said NOT to schedule another appointment with her, but to schedule an NST and then call about scheduling and induction.
Good news: My doctor said I had progressed quite a bit since the week before.
Good news: My doctor said she was willing to bet she would see me today.
Good news: I had a crappy night of discomfort that I thought was promising.
Good news: This morning I finally decided to call it quits at school and called my sub.
Good news: James and I were way excited about the possibility of meeting our little baby today.

Bad news: Nothing. I feel fine again and it's now 2:15 p.m. and . . . nothing.
Bad news: My doctor got my hopes up and I shouldn't have let her.

Good news: James and I went mall walking at the Ghetto Mall today, then walked over and through Costco, then back through the Ghetto Mall.
Bad news: Costco doesn't have a lot of free samples on a Wednesday afternoon.
Good news: We went to La Puente for lunch since their salsa is super mouth firing.
Good news: We went to WinCo and walked every isle.

Bad news: James has major indigestion.
Bad news: Me? Nothing.

Today is May 12th and a baby born today would share her birthday with Cousin Wyatt and Grandpa LaRon. Tomorrow is May 13th and a baby born would share her birthday with Aunt Geneil. I'm sure she would be very emotional about that (Geneil, not the baby), but that would be great! Friday is May 14th and a baby born that day would share her birthday with Uncle Dee. I don't think he would cry. Next week is pretty wide open for birthdays. There isn't another one until Annie's and Cousin Isabel's on May 25th and she (the baby) better not wait that long (don't worry, I won't let her).

D-Day!

When I got to work this morning and started up my computer, my outlook calendar popped up with a message for me: D-day!

Yep, today is my due date and well . . . no baby Bing, no bambino, no bundle of joy . . .

I'm willing to wait (I guess), but as a result, I am losing patience with EVERYTHING ELSE. My students are driving me crazy. I'm tired of answering to things like, "Why are you still here?" or "I thought you were supposed to have your baby today?" or "Why are you still here?" or "Mrs. Binggeli, I thought you were supposed to be gone by now?" or "Why are you still here?" or "Didn't you have your baby yet?" or "Why are you still here?"

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I am also really tired of my feet. They are fat. They hurt.
I am also really tired of my clothes. They don't fit. I'm tired of not being able to take more than 3 steps without pulling up my pants.

Enough complaining. She'll come when she comes. I feel fine, otherwise.

We'll see what D-Day +1 has to offer. At least it brings a doctor's appointment and some kind of update.
