Dang it.

I got pulled over today. I was mad.

I was going a little too fast in a residential area. I was wrong. That was dumb. I was trying to get to Willie's junior jazz game. I left my house at 8:50 a.m. The West Valley City officer pulled me over around 8:55. He FINALLY let me go at 9:20. Grrrrrr . . . I sat there FOREVER. I was getting very, very angry. I was mad that I got pulled over and I was mad that I had been speeding. I was mad that I was going to be late to Willie's game. (I was supposed to do the book again this week, but I think now I may be fired from book duty.)

What really made me mad, though, was that after I had sat there for almost 25 minutes, mr. police officer didn't even give me a ticket. Instead, he gave me a summons to appear at the West Valley City court because I don't have a current address on my driver's license. Grrrrr . . . again. My address is current on everything else, but I have yet to have a successful trip to the dmv to get my licensed changed since getting married. Have you been to the dmv lately? It's a pain in the butt. We changed James's address for his license online, but I can't do my online because I need to do a name change.

Mr. West Valley didn't even understand the form he was giving me. "Um . . . I new at this . . ." Yeah. I figured so. I've been sitting here for 20 minutes!!!! Anyway, I don't know if what I have is actually a ticket. Do I pay a fine? Do I just change my address? If I change my address with the WVC court, it still doesn't change my driver's license, right? All I know is that I have been summoned to report to the Mr. West Valley city hall no sooner than 5 and no later than 14 days from today. Yippy!!

Oh well. It sucks, but I guess that's what I get for speeding.

Hello. It's about time for an update.

I thought I needed to update my blog, but I couldn't find what to talk about. Here is a video about the buffalo (technically american bison) on Antelope Island.

Here is another interesting video in case the first one wasn't up-close and personal enough for you. Let's name this lovely bison, Elvis.
