Little Purple Feet
Molly has been wriggling around a lot more at night. She's becoming slightly more mobile. She was wide awake around midnight after we got home from the rodeo. James was playing with her on the bed and even got her to push herself over from her tummy to her back a couple of times. James finally got her to sleep while I was working on some homework. Since she went to sleep a little later than usual, she slept in until about 7:30 this morning. When I woke up and realized I hadn't heard her yet, I found this. Her little purple feet were sticking out the slats of the crib.
Rodeo!
To celebrate the 24th of July (and because Alicia had free tickets for us all) we went to the Ogden Pioneer Rodeo. Again (like the 4th of July), I worried about James and I being stupid parents for taking a 2 month old to an event like this, but Molly was great, of course! She freaked out a couple of times when the people around us screamed and cheered, but she didn't seem to mind the noise coming out of the speakers and she slept through all the bulls at the end and the motorcyle jumpers afterwards. She's a good baby! We had a good time!
Molly sported her overalls. James decided to sport his rodeo boots and flavor savor. He wanted to blend in. I think I've seen him wear these boots one other time since I've known him. What was the occasion? . . . a rodeo!

Molly - 2 Month Stats
We went to the doctor today for Molly's 2 month check-up. It was scheduled for last week on her 2 month birthday, but the doctor had to reschedule for today.
Height: 24.5 inches - 98th percentile
Weight: 12 lbs 14 oz - 90th percentile
Head: 15.5 in - 58th percentile
(I'm not sure why her head is small. The doctor said not to worry about it. I don't think it looks small. Hmm.)
Other things worth noting: minor heart murmer, some skin irritations including eczema and intertrigo, otherwise very healthy!
Molly also had her first round of vaccinations today, too. She screamed for a minute, but then was fine. We'll see how she is for the next day or so.

Photos of the Grandchildren
Tonight after dinner, my mom asked if we could get a photo of her grandchildren. My mom's camera had dead batteries, so Annie took these with her phone. Here are a couple of attempts.
We decided to go visit Grandma Huber tonight, too. Maddie and Ben were there with Cole. Grandma asked if someone could take a picture of these two cute kids. Cole is 3 weeks older than Molly. They are second cousins. James only had his phone, but luckily Ben was prepared with his camera. Grandma even wanted to take her oxygen off for the photo!
