Change the bed

Have you heard of "Where's Waldo?" How about "Where's Molly?"

Meanwhile . . . here is a picture of a baby in a little bed.

Later that day . . . the baby met a bigger bed
Here is a picture of the new nursery (still in the corner of our bedroom). Basically, it's a crib and changing table squished in the corner. Nobody puts baby in a corner (name that movie!). Oh wait, we just put the baby in the corner. We'll see how it works.

I See . . .

I See . . . Your True Colors Shining Through

Was it because it was Sunday?
Was it the bow?
Was it that the bedspread was in the dryer?
I don't know what caused the screamingness, but oh well.

4th of July

The 4th of July actually began on the 2nd of July this year (and according to the m.c. at the Logan Fireworks, the 2nd is the day Independance was actually declared, the signing of the document took place two days later, on the 4th, and this is a run-on-non-sentance with a lot of commas).

We started celebrating with Mary, LaRon, and Alicia (thanks Alicia for the pictures since we didn't have our camera) at the Logan Fireworks. I think we have been to the Logan Fireworks for the last three years. I guess that means we have been every year that we've been married.

After we got there, I realized that we are probably stupid parents for taking a 7 week old baby to the festivities, but Molly survived ok and we had a good time. Alicia brought a small flag. The small girl held it in her small hand and looked very patriotic. She slept through the first 20 minutes of the fireworks, but during the last 1o got very squirmy and a little upset. I'm not sure if it was the loud firework booms in the sky that caused this or the small flatulence booms on my lap that caused it. Either way, she got pretty upset during the end. After a diaper change, though, Molly thought the stroller ride back to the car was the best part of the whole night. And, as a good baby should, she transferred from her carseat to her bed at 12:45 a.m. without a peep and stayed right asleep.

On Saturday the 3rd, James went to float down the Weber River with his dad and Alicia. He said he had fun, though a large rock gave him a sore ankle and rear end. While James was in the river, Molly and I ran a bunch of errands and then headed to Grandma's for festivities at her house. My mom and dad spent the 4th of July in Boston.
