John Rowe Moyle (Pioneers Part I)

Jack is giving a talk in primary tomorrow about pioneers and temples.  That is a perfect topic because we are descendants from John Rowe Moyle.  Here is his talk:

My 5 greats grandpa was a pioneer named John Rowe Moyle.  He pulled a handcart all the way to Utah.  He was a stone cutter.  He walked 30 miles every week from his house to work on the Salt Lake Temple.  He even had to walk on a wooden leg.  His job wasn’t easy, but he did this because he knew that temples were important.  He carved the words “Holiness to the Lord.”  I can see it every time I visit the Temple and remember his sacrifice.  I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
