Good luck Alicia

Alisha left today. She has been deployed on a 4-6 month tour of Iraq. She says she'll be pretty safe. She's is maintenance and supply and will be stationed on a giant army base somewhere in Iraq. It's still scary, though, and we wish her the best for a safe return. (There is a good chance, though, that she'll be stationed somewhere near where Jason is. He's on a 15 month tour, but should be finished up about the same time Alicia is. We hope they both stay safe.)
Here are a few things she needed to make sure to remember before she left.

Home Construction - Day 2

The wall is progressing!
(Yes, I know my kitchen is a disaster, but I will clean it up when we're done making bigger messes. And, I have at least shop-vac'd the floor every night and wiped down the counter top. The toaster is a little dusty, though, and I may have to rewash some clean dish towels and clean silverware because they are dusty. Oh well. It will be nice when it is finished. At least the toilet isn't sitting in the middle of the hall, right?!? :) )

A work in progress.

We are making some changes to our kitchen. We are adding a wall and getting a new counter top. It will sure be nice when it's finished. In the meantime, there is a bit of chaos in the kitchen, but James is doing a good job.

We also had quite the weekend. On Saturday morning, we helped a lady in our ward move, then we went to Grandma Hubers for a couple of hours to help with some yard cleanup. We left in the afternoon to head to Idaho Falls for a baby blessing Sunday morning. We had a nice time and got to spend some time with James's family. It was fun!

On Sunday night, James's sister Alicia stayed at our house. She is being deployed for 6 months to Iraq and is scheduled to leave this week. We're glad she could come and stay.

Here are some pictures of the cute little baby - Morriah - in Idaho Falls!

We also stopped in Lewiston, Utah on our way home and visited Grandma Frances's grave. It's was a beautiful day!
