In our city (Fruit Heights) they don't have partisan parties, per se. There was the "Pine Cone" party and the "Spruce" party. I am not even joking. I still can't figure it out? What kind of a platform do you run on if you belong to the Spruce party? Sadly, I didn't find out because I didn't attend the caucus parties. It seemed like something we would have encountered in Seattle, not UT. If anything, I thought you'd find that as comical as I did.
