That'll Do Pig Roast! - Remember when James was supposed to be deployed again last year and then he lucked out and didn't have to go? Well, a bunch of guys did have to go and they are all back safe and sound now. James' 1st Sergeant, Harley, had a pig roast yesterday for all of the guys who just got back and all of the guys who went the first time. The pig was good and there was lots of food. Harley lives in Syracuse. He has a log home that he built himself, a nice yard with a goldfish pond, a big garden, goats, llamas, sheep, and of course . . . pigs. He even has a cute little runt of a pig that lives on the porch as their pet. James got to see some good friends he hasn't seen for a while and except for the back-dripping heat, it was a good time!
The Police - Last night we went to see the Police at the USANA. I'm sure Annie will post some video of all the great dancers. The band sounded great even though they are old and Sting has major gray in his beard. The people behind us were super drunk. James kept looking at them to see what outrageously drunk things they were doing. He was looking at them when they pulled out the Mary-juanna and one of the guys yelled, "stop staring at us." James thought he wanted to fight him. I thought it was pretty cool that Sting's bass is way old and beat to shreds. Awesome! (Despite what other posts may say, the crowd was very tame and nothing compared to the craziness of Kenny Chesnutt's last summer.)

Haley --
Craft stores with a cause are okay. Remember -- we were looking for something to hang in Grandma's bathroom.
