Big Girl Bed

Some things with Molly are extremely difficult.  Other things are very easy.  That binker in her mouth in the bottom picture has been very difficult to remove.  She is only allowed to have it for "night night" time and if she requests it (meaning she is screaming for it), she has to sit in her bed to suck on it.  It's no longer in the car, the bag, or anywhere else.  That has been difficult.

What has been easy?  Last night my mom and dad called and said they would bring up my old bed.  We set it up and told Molly it was hers.  She loves it!  She slept all night long and she just went down for a nap with no problem at all (and with a blanket over her face, as usual).  Who'd a thought?

We'd been talking about getting her a new bed soon.  We thought it'd be better to get her established well in advance of a baby brother sleeping in her crib.  I thought it would be more than a 1 night transition, but I guess not (knock on wood).  She needs a bedspread and we're still trying to figure out the best furniture arrangement for her room and where to put all of her toys, but the bed is a success!  Pictures of a complete room will come later.
