Students Say the Darndest things, again

Conversation heard in my classroom today:

Student 1: What's the capital of Florida?

Student 2: Oh, I know it . . . . I just can't think of it right now.

Student 1: It's Miami.

Student 2: Oh yeah. Duh. I should have just thought of the Dolphins, huh.

Teacher: (interrupts conversation with a correction) The capital of Florida is Tallahasse.

Student 2: Well duh. That's stupid. Then why don't they call them the Tallahassee Dolphins.

Made me laugh! I wonder if the Murray students will provide you with as much humor? Cindy
